The 800 MHz Transition Administrator, LLC (TA) has posted a list of the Requests for Waivers of the June 26, 2008 deadline that it has received. For the complete list, click here. To search for individual requests, click here.

The TA has created two (2) web-based tools to assist Non-EA based 800 MHz licensees in determining their reconfiguration requirements and options during the 800 MHz reconfiguration process.

1) The Call Sign Checker will allow a Non-EA based 800 MHz licensee to enter a call sign for a system (with frequencies between 851 and 869 MHz) and retrieve a synopsis of all the frequencies with base station locations (for example with station class FB2) that may be affected by the 800 MHz reconfiguration. Clicking on the hyperlinks in the column headers will provide a glossary of terms used in the synopsis. Licenses without a base station location are not in the available data.

If you are unsure as to what your call sign is, you may utilize the FCC ULS Database to find your call sign.

2) The Frequency Checker will allow a Non-EA based 800 MHz licensee to enter a transmit frequency and retrieve a synopsis on how that frequency may be affected by the 800 MHz reconfiguration. Clicking on the hyperlinks in the column headers will provide a glossary of terms used in the synopsis. Frequencies must be in the range of 806 to 824 MHz (mobile operations) or in the range of 851 to 869 MHz (base station operations).
